Lesson 60 – Where Will Be The Best Geographic Place For Survival By The End Of This Century?

The World Bank has stated that finding enough freshwater will be challenging by the end of this century.
The lack of fresh water will be the downfall of our bludgeoning population and will reduce it. However, many other forces could reduce our huge population before the lack of fresh water becomes problematic. It’s now all a matter of what happens next rather than if.
If you had to examine the Earth today, you would find that the most significant amount of fresh water is in the Great Lakes basin area. I believe society will end up on the Canadian side of Lake Superior, at the very least, by then. People will settle there for two reasons:
1) People will settle within the Great Lakes basin (on the Canadian side of Lake Superior) to access the most freshwater on Earth and live in the best climate change region.
2. Because of weather situations and climate change, the Canadian side of Lake Superior will be the most inhabitable. From a climate change viewpoint, Southern Michigan will be the “new Florida” and Florida will become uninhabitable.
If I were to project what might happen If the lack of fresh water becomes a problem:
Michigan will be the location where food is grown (possibly). Sailing ships will move produce around the Great Lakes through the various ports that are already established, and light rail will move produce inside the state where needed.
The Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan will be hit by tornadoes and become unmanageable, and the Eastern side (on the other side of the state) will be too ugly.
Because of climate change, Canada will become our focus, and living close to Lake Superior (with all homes facing East) will make this the best choice for the remainder of the Earth’s population to live in. Africa and other regions will become barren, and due to climate change, the cost of living and life in general will experience many calamities, and the world’s population will be reduced.
