Background D: The Turn (A Singular Bifurcation Point In Time)

The Turn
The evolution of consciousness is a highly definable, entirely predictable process and can be explained by the known laws of science. Thus, it can satisfy your longing to find an authentic, rational, and logical explanation about the process of life.
At the midpoint of this process lies “The Turn,” a point in time where the descent of this evolutionary process changes direction and begins to ascend. Here, at a place in time, we will call the Turn, the guiding principle of life shifts and changes hands, so to speak, as we begin a completely different way of living, one that requires the exercise of individual free will and can only be traversed by the individual and never the group.
One by one, each person must make it through the Turn until collectively, a critical mass is achieved, and all of society “gets it.” Until then, we are headed full steam ahead into the depths of the descent, and if our current direction isn’t corrected, we could crash and destroy ourselves. At the very minimum, there will be tremendous pain and suffering over the next half of this century as most people find it challenging to surrender completely and let go of their old ways and attachments.
Where we are in our human history is precisely at the halfway position of our evolutionary development, a place I call The Turn. As you learn more about this Process and how it works, you should be able to fully appreciate this singular bifurcation point in time for what it is (a natural thinning of destructive tendencies) and realize that it is our good fortune to be on Earth at this time to become productive channels for this movement. This is a time of significant change and the emergence of tremendous creativity needed to solve problems and define new approaches.
I want to emphasize that the current and emerging world change is a necessary part of a more extensive Process that can be defined and used to determine precisely where we should be headed by examining where we have been in the past. We cannot reach our desired destination without a valid and clear path and a cosmology to guide us. Without identifying our true and collective goal, the world will continue to fall apart, and our Old Earth will not be able to give way to the New that is trying to be born.
We are at the beginning of this new transitional period. We will soon witness the collapse of the Old Earth as the ruins of a decaying society try to cover over and eliminate the seeds of a new world that is about to emerge. Human consciousness is embarking upon a radical transformation that will be harder on us and more painful than at any other time because our physical vehicle is in the very early stage of a several thousand-year evolution that will create a new race of beings. The advent of this new race must somehow occur within the structure of cosmic laws. Since these laws are definable and predictable parts of the transition process from the old to the new, they must happen organically and harmoniously; otherwise, we risk complete and total destruction.
Because the awakening that accompanies the Turn currently holds power and is the key to accessing all future resources, the old civilization must furnish the means for this new expansion of life and confirm that the process is already underway. We now see all around us confirmations that the process is already underway as a rise of the forces of destruction and negation, which are the shadows cast by the Old, and through their still existing powers, the rapid change that is needed will come about.
The Coming Collapse
In many different ways, we can see signs of the coming collapse of everything built by humans and created over the last centuries. What was initially perceived as a solid foundation for life and the secure basis for growth is now an illusion. As we look closer, we will realize that the Old Earth was built upon the foundations of a degenerate substance.
Our religions are withering into ineffectiveness, and our governments are inadequate to hold back the forces of greed and corruption and maintain even a semblance of decent behavior in the collective, national, and international societies. Our businesses are motivated by greed and the desire to increase profits. Our citizens are not much more than brainwashed consumers who blindly place money in the coffers of our wealthy, improperly motivated leaders and corporations without objecting to the chain of causation that leads to the production of each consumed good or service.
As we examine what is going on closely, we find that even our education is a meaningless tool that prepares us for a world that is dying and is, in large part, already dead. We have been conditioned to fit a pattern that has just about exhausted itself, and people now suspect that something is truly wrong with our system. Unfortunately, they have no idea what it is and what to do about it.
We genuinely are poised for the physical emergence of a real Armageddon – a world war that will be fought over the last drops of oil in the Middle East and necessary resources such as food and water. Greed-seeking money and a sense of gratification are so tremendous and so present that our political and business leaders will be willing to fight another war to maintain access to the last critical resources that have fueled our current approach to life.
The end has come for everything that is not the living and pulsating expression of an inner truth. As we begin to see this, we realize that we must now face the overwhelming and emerging power of transformation at the center of our lives that has become so much a part of us – our very own ego. Our ego nature must take a backseat, just as everything else that is old and of no further use. With the sacrifice of our ego, all the ways of the Old Earth will fall into oblivion, and intuition can begin to take over as a force to lead each person’s life.
Our ego nature provided the means to arrive at a dangerously overpopulated and polluted Earth. Now, we turn the corner and acquire a new consciousness unrestrained by the usual chains of greed, lust, ambition, thirst for individual or national supremacy, violence, and all the old ways holding us back. It is our destiny to begin today to visualize the first glimpse of a preliminary race of people that precedes a coming new Gnostic society. This spiritualized society would like its individuals to live not in the ego but within the collective soul’s auspices.
We Are Exactly Where We Need To Be
Was what we’ve done and where we stand today a mistake, a wrong direction in our evolutionary process? No, not at all. According to the Arc of Creation, the cosmological model of the evolution of consciousness that I will share later in another lesson, we have executed our evolutionary requirements incredibly accurately.
A long time ago, when we moved into the emergence and development of the individual ego, we were leaving a time when our group consciousness was most dominant, and our objective became that of acquiring maximum personal power through the domination of the physical outer world. We did that very well, and today, we have arrived at the peak of the use of the rational, logical mind (what we call the Information Age), where everything is now determined by some kind of law (scientific, legal, etc).
When I discuss the Arc of Creation, you will begin to appreciate our actual evolutionary progress and how our position today perfectly supports our next development phase after a challenging transitional period, The Crossroads.
The Turn is unavoidable in our development and will be our biggest challenge. Here, we must transcend the use of the rational and logical mind and instead learn to access and trust the guidance of our intuitive inner voice. As we succeed in this, we will begin a new stage of development, using intuition and creativity as our primary approach to life.
Today, almost everything we know about life has become mentalized and categorized within a robust knowledge base created primarily from logic and reason. This mental approach to life is sterile and cannot nurture us using the fundamental but invisible forces of qualities like love, compassion, and concern for all of life surrounding us.
It is time to move away from leading life primarily from the level of our mind. The mental capabilities of our mind can order and forecast our future based on observable activity. Still, through its ignorance of the interconnectedness and accurate source of phenomena and the oneness of the multiple dimensions of life and their method of interrelationship, the mind can only render a very fragmented and incomplete view of life. A proper understanding can only come to a person who lives in the consciousness of unity and has reached this level through specific methods designed for this purpose.
Suppose there are infinite possible future directions that humanity could traverse. Wouldn’t it be best to pick the one that is the most authentic and best aligned with the underlying Purposiveness that propels evolution itself? Is there a way for us to locate and uncover this best and most accurate path for our future, given the limited state of our almost wholly mentally oriented consciousness? Yes, there is, but it won’t be determined by logic and reason. Creativity and using our inner intuitive voice will be our only way out.
Intuition Is Our Only Way Out
When we realize that all matter and all form is a condensation of the energy of Time, knowledge of the operation of the essence of time within the manifested world becomes a prime component for the success of defining our Ideal Future Vision. Our ancient civilizations had access to authentic knowledge that could guide our vision. They understood the importance of the hidden key of time. They have incorporated this knowledge into their monuments, which remain a mystery to modern man because the more profound hidden meaning can be revealed only when the structure is appropriately placed within the movement of time and through intuitive insight.
Modern man no longer possesses a language or a methodology to “see” and appreciate the more profound movement of time. He has lost his ability to uncover the underlying knowledge through the universal laws that initially might seem esoteric but ultimately reveal what we need to know to move forward. These architectural monuments of the olden days are much like cosmic clocks that can be read if their geometry was related to the movement of life. The study of sacred geometry (when placed within the light of the understanding of its inherent time element) can reveal the truth of the form involved and anything related to it using the law of correspondence that tells us our current reality is a mirror of what is going on inside of us.
When we understand this, we will also find that time IS the force within which God makes his/her appearance in the world. By understanding the movement of life and the evolution of consciousness as it traverses through time, we can see God’s footprints in our physically manifested reality.
This hidden and revealing knowledge has been well represented within our old universe cosmologies incorporated in the pyramids, temples, and other structures that contain representations of universal principles relative to our life on Earth through the law of correspondence.
This Knowledge Existed In The Past
These structures can reveal all they contain through the design and knowledge endowed by their creators and can possess actual power – the power to influence, shape, and mold consciousness in the realm of existence each structure embodies. For a person who has reached the proper level of consciousness, a structure can “speak” to him through the law of correspondence and pass on knowledge possessed by generations who no longer live on Earth.
When this type of communication becomes possible, it occurs through the inherent energy of Time because all forms are the condensation of Time’s energy, which reveals its history and movement when analyzed. Time is the motor that propels the movement of consciousness. Time is consciousness in motion or what may more accurately be described as sequence. Consciousness cannot exist without Time, and Time only exists within the realm of Consciousness.
Religious leaders have erroneously tried to convince us that spiritual experience transports us to a level of existence beyond Time and Space both through the concept of meditation and through telling us that heaven only exists after the death of our physical body. They have taught us that if we quiet our minds, we can, with practice, reach a position of Bliss or a position that reflects a more ideal approach to life than our everyday living. However, if we should get to that place, it is not because we have arrived somewhere significant. Still, instead, because we have successfully negated the voice of our mind as an instrument, and as a result, we move into a position of negation – there is no time, and there is no space – not this nor that.
This position may help catch our balance and allow our brain waves to become balanced through their disengagement. Still, the tangible outcome is that consciousness is forced into negating positive and dynamic existence as we become temporarily trapped in a void. Only when a release occurs does movement again begin, and our consciousness recovers cognition of itself. Such a state of being is like a plunge into a black hole. Our entire purpose and reason for existence is to use our embodied carbon-based organic containers to “see” and to become conscious, not to escape from them.
We have been working on developing our consciousness for a very long time. We are getting to a point where we are acquiring a greater capacity to hold a fuller vibratory experience without the risk of falling into this opposite position of non-being. In reality, we are moving closer to being able to create heaven upon Earth while still conscious and physically alive, while not having to negate our bodies and souls to escape somewhere else. The concept of reaching heaven only after the death of our physical bodies is ridiculous. Heaven is meant to be created upon Earth and not beyond. Given time, it will appear here.
We are just beginning to be able to move into an era of great creativity and evolve beyond the limitations of the mind. Mind is a tool of the lower hemisphere of our being and can only be used within that range of activity (survival, pleasure, sex, and physical well-being). When attempts are made to bring the mind into the higher realms of existence, the result can easily be the negation of our lower being, which has been our limitation in the past. On the other hand, when the physical begins to participate consciously, our whole body and all levels of its existence can find a direct connection to the Source of all existence, and the mind is not needed as the bridge. When the physical is awakened, a power emerges that allows us to remain conscious as greater heights and corresponding depths emerge and become available through our activity.
Our task is to bring these higher levels of existence down into the physical world and to ground them as natural and complementary energies along with the energies of our lower desires and needs. This is the next stage of human development. That is our destiny and one of our most important discoveries and adventures that will accompany the transition we are making from living life at the level of mind (it’s no wonder we call this the Information Age, a truly mental existence) to living life at the level of our intuition and heart, our very soul existence.
The Mental Emotional Balancing Program and your participation in the Daily Visualization Exercise that I shared in a later lesson are two of the few disciplines that I know of that efficiently help to quiet the mind but not by emptying it. Instead, we will increase our intuition and creativity by exercising our ability to hold and visualize our movement through the 3-dimensional shape of The Mother’s Temple, the wireframe of reality I will share with you in the last section of this course.
We Need To Make This Transition
This is how we begin to quickly create a bridge to take us where the mind cannot go. This is how we transition from mind to heart and allow our inner intuitive voice to emerge within our daily surface lives. It also helps us gain the emotional strength needed to listen to and have total faith in the guidance of this inner voice. I would like you to consider the limitations involved with leading your life mainly from the level of mind and be willing to open your heart first and then your voice of intuition to access its inner knowledge.
The physical vessel and the state of organic matter are the objects of our future evolution. The physical is the container of consciousness, the chalice that must hold both the descent of force from above and the ascent of the power from the three-dimensional, physically manifested world we stand within daily. The universe is a process put into motion by purpose. This process involves the descent of Spirit into the depth of the matter, one step at a time, until it reaches the singular bifurcation point of the Crossroads and then begins a climb (after an awakening), an ascent out of matter and back toward Spirit carrying with it the history, the memories, and the experience of its full exploration within Time.
Because matter is a crystallization within the movement of the time of Consciousness, and if Consciousness were to express itself at its’ highest and most authentic potential level, our material creations would truly become those of heaven upon Earth instead of the cheap, caustic, dead, throw away forms of today’s consumer-oriented economy. This is the ultimate destiny for humanity, but at present, we are at a crossroads where we must transcend logic and reason and replace its lead with intuition and creativity.
Currently, we are located at the very depth of Spirit’s descent into matter (the 3-dimensional physical world). The following arc shape describes this experience if it were represented graphically.
We see all around us the evidence of the peak and height of the use of the rational, logical mind, which “sees life” filled with separate objects and activities whose current purpose is to satisfy the temporary delights of the lower nature of man. At the same time, we begin to observe the destruction of life that is selfishly occurring because we’ve lost our position of Oneness with all things that surround us and only see ourselves as the center of our universe (motivated chiefly by greed and sexual and sensual gratification – all lower levels of consciousness). This is the actual social condition of modern man as we begin the 21st century.
We also are located at the position of the singular bifurcation point in Time, The Crossroads, where we individually are being challenged to surrender the hold of our ego and its use of the mind as its primary instrument for “seeing life.” We are encouraged to make a grand surrender, one person at a time, and to move our perceptual center away from the mind and into intuition and our heart. We have experienced firsthand what our self-centered greed and sensual gratification-oriented approach to life create for us, and the results are neither good nor sustainable. The required shift is a movement away from approaching life from the left side of the brain (that of rational, logical thought) and into the right side of the brain (intuitive knowing and co-creative connectedness with all of creation).
Our old way of “seeing life” that currently supports capitalism as its primary ideology is a viewpoint that exists from the position of the individual personality, the ego. The ego sees everything as separate from all others, and its influence occurs at the center of the world. Right next to this old center lies a witness, another point of seeing that most people are fully asleep and inactive. This is referred to as our soul, a center within space/time that forms our direct connection with the Spirit, capable of permeating all Creation. We have arrived at a place in the evolution of human consciousness where the ego must take a back seat to the inner promptings of our intuition, the realm of our inner voice waiting to guide us and help us form a new and better approach to life.
The universe is an expression of the soul of the Supreme Creator, our Source. The Manifest, in its infinitude of dimensions, and the Unmanifest (the Zero Plane Accretion Disk or the ZPAD), is to the Supreme what the soul center is to man. The soul is a spark of the Spirit in its plunge into the most profound depth of total being, the three-dimensional physically manifested universe (what I call the 3DPMU).
The Human Kingdom
In the evolutionary process, humans inhabit one of seven kingdoms of existence whose ultimate goal is the evolution of the individual soul, the development of the ultimate being-ness, and, ultimately, a return to the position of the Supreme at the end of this journey.
However, man is not very far along in his evolution. He is only now crossing the halfway mark of his development and moving into the transition period of The Crossroads of The Turn. In his evolution, his soul connection is unconscious and involuntary. It is not only not visible in the creation of his outer world, but he is awaiting what is called in Christianity, the Virgin Birth – an actual awakening and a new way of seeing and a movement from his old ego mind governed center to his intuitively guided heart center. This new position, this new center, must be sought out and discovered by each person before humanity collectively can move into the future Golden Age.
There is a coming Golden Age, but its full manifestation is far off in the future even though the moment of its birth and unfolding in the world is now occurring during our present time. We first must make it through The Crossroads of The Turn (a highly challenging transitional period) one person at a time. It is here that our most significant surrender is made, and the prior descent of Spirit can then become an ascent. Here at The Crossroads of The Turn, our evolution quits being unconscious and subject to the play and randomness of nature, where we can truly “see” and glimpse our ultimate destination and individual and collective future paths. Here, we move toward what might be described as the Divine Light.
The Light of Recognition can guide us through the Crossroads of this new consciousness and the corresponding understanding it requires to be made known. When we make it through the Crossroads, our shift becomes instantaneous and can occur only in the present moment. The present is not a part of time because it is always the present.
Time
Time is the shadow of the present, and it is derived from it. Consequently, the particular potency of The Crossroads primarily is recognition – recognition of a principle, realization of a truth, reconciliation of duality – satori! It is here where the connection is made, and an approach to life based upon duality can give way to a conception of Oneness. This is the goal, the privilege, and the next step in the evolution of man at present. The formative principle enables us to evolve so that our development ultimately leads to our potential divinity.
A new Gnostic race is emerging, and its successful birth during our present time is entirely dependent upon man (not God) to make it through The Crossroads. How many times have we reached a similar bifurcation point in space/time and failed, and evolution has had to start all over? We will never know as the challenging aspects of such a Grand Surrender face us now at the beginning of the 21st century, and our ability to make the necessary surrender will ultimately decide the success or failure of our collectivity.
The very survival of the human race depends on our making it through this transitional period. The only question remaining (whose answer depends on how quickly and easily we surrender and go through the requirements of the Crossroads) is how many of us will survive? The odds are that when we reach the end of the 21st century, our 7 to 10 billion population will have dwindled due to many adverse forces, and we will be left with only a billion or fewer people walking the face of the earth.
Through our old tools of destruction and dissolution, we have unleashed many global problems that will soon force us to shift or perish. The only issue with making such a shift will be figuring out what we need to do and how we should do it. As a society, we do not possess an authentic cosmology that has been reduced to a sustainable approach to life that can become a roadmap for our future. Without that, how would we be able to begin the journey and get there if we didn’t know where our ideal destination was?
It is time for the seeds of a new realization, a new way of “seeing.” This must manifest now if more significant authentic collective experiences are to come forth in our far future. It is the moment in time for the birth of the first cell of this new consciousness, and when it emerges, it will initially be the seed for a new creation. The new way of “seeing” will first be accomplished within consciousness, and through the unfolding of time, it will spread and encompass the entire planet, making it the home for a new divine life.
Survival
The unfortunate result of this process is that a much smaller group of people located in a particular geographic location on Earth will be the ones to survive and thrive. All others will perish or, at the very least, suffer the most grueling conditions of life.
